2Blue is easy to apply and the filler cap is usually located next to the fuel inlet on the side or in place of the spare tire. Its consumption depends on several factors, including the operating temperature of the system, the ambient temperature of the car and its characteristics. The consumption estimate is around 1.5 to 2.5 liters per 1,000 km.

2Blue is a chemical product that complies with the Adblue® standard, complementary to fuel, which must be used in diesel vehicles equipped with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology. It is an aqueous solution of high purity urea.

Instructions for use

The 2Blue liquid can be placed by the vehicle owner, with the same ease with which it replenishes the oil levels in the engine, with the difference that the location of the access port varies depending on the model, and may be attached to to the fuel tank or under the luggage compartment floor, next to the replacement wheel.

Tips

The standard that regulates the quality of AdBlue is ISO 22241, approved by the German Society of the Automotive Industry. Only brands with this certification offer guarantees.
